A Transformational Moment
While PSCC has been on a path to growth, it wasn’t until we hired an executive director to lead us into the future that things really started happening.
With a strategic plan in place with the goal of raising funds to support conservation in Illinois, the news of being the recipient of a $47-million grant was a dream come true.
Executive Director Cynthia Kanner wrote an article published in the Summer 2025 edition of the Land Trust Alliance Saving Land newsletter explaining the challenges faced in the conservation world and what to expect in the near future from PSCC.
