2025 Grants Awarded: We are pleased to announce that PSCC, through our inaugural round of funding from the Prairie State Conservation Fund, has awarded seven Acquisition of Land and Conservation Easements Grants totaling $1.7 million to support the acquisition and permanent protection of nearly 2,500 acres of natural habitat and wildlife areas across Illinois.
These awards represent PSCC’s commitment to protecting the most ecologically significant land in Illinois, expanding habitat connectivity, strengthening public and private partnerships, and ensuring lasting benefits for wildlife and future generations.
