TWI Calumet Coordinator

Full-time Calumet Coordinator

To keep up with the burgeoning collaborative work across the Calumet Region, The Wetlands Initiative is again hiring a full-time Calumet projects staffer. Our previous coordinator has been promoted to a management position, creating this opening.

This position is a strong opportunity for a young person interesetd in how so much of today’s conservation work happens, in close collaboration with a range of partners, with highly-diverse communities, and (as we here like to say) doing wetlands restoration “where you might not think it could be done.”

TWI is growing and as the previous coordinator’s example shows, there’s room here for an early-career professional to grow with us. In this instance, we’re particularly interested in candidates having roots or history in the bi-state Calumet Region.

Send a resume, cover letter, and contact information for three professional references, by May 31, 2024, via email to jobs@wetlands-initiative.org. No phone calls.

Applications will be reviewed as they arrive. Candidates being considered will be invited for one or more virtual personal interviews. The starting salary range is from $45,000 to $50,000, commensurate with experience.
